The Governing Council has approved a list of thirty-two capital projects proposals as freshly presented to it by the University Management, for implementation in the current fiscal year.
This fact was contained in the Digest of Decisions, taken at the 66th Statutory Meeting of the Governing Council of May 13, 2011.
According to the Digest breakdown, endorsed by the Acting Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. Adeleke Adeboye, the approved capital projects cut across construction, landscaping, electrification as well as supply and installation of infrastructures.
The projects that received the blessing of Council include the construction of College of Veterinary Medicine (COLVET) Building (Phase II), UNAAB International School (UNIS) Hostel, Phase II and the Central Laboratory Complex.
Others include the construction of Earth Roads at IFSERAR, UNAAB Staff School, UNAAB International School, Zoological Garden, Farm Centre, among others.
The Management would also be embarking on the landscaping of International Scholars and Resource Centre, Postgraduate School/COLFHEC/COLERM Phase II and the 2000-Capacity Central Computer Laboratory projects quadrangle.
