The Governing Council has commended the passion of the University Management to staff development.
The commendation was in response to the recent boost in the sponsorship of University staff to various international training programmes such as the Galilee International Management institute, Nahalal, Israel and the Omega Centre for Management and Development, Nelspruit, South Africa.
A release signed by the Coordinator, Registry, Mrs. Christiana Kuforiji, informed that Council expressed delight at the present administration’s commitment to staff training, which it noted would in turn have a positive effect on the development of the University.
Meanwhile, the Governing Council has approved the release of fund for the purchase and installation of furniture items and office equipment for existing and newly completed University buildings.
The approval was granted in a bid to make the buildings fully functional and beneficial to the services of the University.
