In line with the spirit of raising the bar of excellence, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, has disclosed that the University will soon complete its 120 Professorial Building units.
Professor Balogun made this known while playing host to the executive members of the National Association of University Women (NAUW), UNAAB Chapter, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Council Chamber of the University.
He said when completed, the early morning traffic-jam trauma along Abeokuta-Ibadan highway, in which staff and students are usually held-up, would have been a forgotten experience.
The University helmsman further disclosed that over 500 units of houses would also be built for the non-teaching members of staff by the end of the year, alongside the professorial building units.
Professor Balogun while appreciating the executive members of NAUW, UNAAB Chapter, for seeing to the welfare of the children of University staff at the Crèche, assured that the welfare of staff and students will always command pivotal attention of his administration.
He, thereafter, urged the association to be futuristic and proactive in order to remain focused, while aiming high.
