A cross-section of applicants who sat for the employment’s Aptitude Test in the University have described the exercise as transparent, but tough.

They however admitted that they did not expect less, given the national rating and pedigree of UNAAB.
In a chat with UNAAB Bulletin, an applicant, who simply gave his name as Segun, said there was no evidence of malpractices, in the way the University conducted the Aptitude Test.

Narrating his experience, Segun, who applied for the post of Executive Officer, stated “For instance, the test was computer-based. It was ‘one man-one computer’ and the questions were set in such a way that it doesn’t tally or rhyme with those of the person sitting next to you.

Speaking further, the 35-year old applicant, who disclosed that he presently runs a GSM Call Centre, to eke out a living, said “the questions were tough”.

According to him, “the questions were so tough. Some of us are not Science students while we were in school but, we were asked science-related questions”.

Another applicant, who gave her name as Tope, however disagreed, describing the impression that the interview was tough as defensive.

She averred, “The questions were not tough but technical and whenever you are going for interview, you are supposed to prepare hard by studying GMATs, Dictionary and the likes”.

“I have heard a lot about UNAAB. They told me it is business-unusual here. I prayed to God and burnt midnight candles. I didn’t find the questions difficult, but highly technical”, she added.

Others, who spoke with UNAAB Bulletin, also commended the conduct of the interview which they said was transparent adding that, it was tough.
