The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Toyin Arowolo, has given out his daughter in marriage.
The ceremony, which attracted the crème-de-la-crème of the University Community was held at the Bato Events Centre, Km 3, Eruwon Road, GRA, Ijebu-Ode, last Saturday.
Speaking at the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, who was also the Chairman at the wedding advised the couple on religious tolerance, admonishing the them to remain united inspite of their religious diversity.
He charged the newly-wedded couple to regularly imbibe in their daily routines, the “3cs” which means; Cooperation, Consolidation and Compromise.
Prof. Balogun congratulated the DVC (A), Prof. Arowolo, for not being rigid in giving his daughter in marriage to a Christian family.
Mr. Olasunkanmi Oduwole and former Miss Olayinka Arowolo are both Alumni of FUNAAB.
