The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Chief Lawrence Ayinde Olakunle Osayemi has scored the out-going Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun a pass mark for a job well done. According to the Pro-Chancellor, “even the most ardent critic of Prof. Balogun will agree with him that he has done well. “This is my Vice-Chancellor in whom I am very much pleased”, he enthused.
He described Prof. Balogun as a success in University education, stating that it needs peculiar wisdom to be a successful University Administrator.
The out-going Vice-Chancellor later appreciated the University Community for keeping faith, saying “you have allowed me heal the wounds usually generated by the problems of succession of the Vice-Chancellor”.
Meanwhile, a book titled “Testament of Transformational Leadership: A Celebration of Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun” was presented and reviewed by the Secretary-General, Committee of Vice-Chancellors, Prof. Mike Faborode, in commemoration of the exemplary leadership traits of Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun.
