The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, Ambassador Godknows Igali, has likened the aesthetic, congenial ambience and the serenity of the Alabata campus of the University to what is obtainable in most prestigious foreign universities.
Speaking at a brief meeting with members of the Governing Council of the University, shortly before he commissioned the Southwest Regional Centre of the National Water Resources’ Capacity Building Network (NWRCBNet), the Permanent Secretary said immediately he entered into the campus, he fell in love with the “aesthetic and ambience” that permeated it.
He described the lush-green and other beautiful attractions of the campus as a reminder of “high class universities abroad”.
Dr. Igali said with the serenity of FUNAAB campus, he did not need to be told that it is a Centre of Excellence. He, however, urged the University Management to maintain the beauty.
