The newly-built FUNAAB Guest House, located in the premises of the International Scholars’ and Resource Centre (IS&REC) of the University has commenced operations.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole made the disclosure during the weekly Management Meeting of the University, held recently.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the University Management decided to kick-start commercial activities at the Guest House, in order to adequately test-run installed facilities, to ensure hitch-free operations, especially, during the forthcoming International Symposium of the International Society for Tropical Root Crops (ISTRC).
The new Guest House, which is temporarily being managed by a Consultant in the hospitality business, in conjunction with the staff of Royal Greens Guests House, has a 24-room facility, including eight suites and 16 standard rooms, all en-suite and tastefully furnished.
Members of the University community, stakeholders and general public were enjoined to patronize the Guest House for a memorable experience.
