The venue of the University 37th Inaugural Lecture, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Lecture Theater on Wednesday assumed the posture of the popular “Redemption Camp” of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as scores of Leaders, Pastors and members turned out massively, in solidarity with the Inaugural Lecturer, Professor Adegboyega Micheal Aduradola (FIIA), who is the Pastor in Charge of Ogun Province I.
The elated members of RCCG, who rented the air intermittently with victorious and appreciative shouts of “Halleluyah” and “the Lord is good respectively”, in response to the peak moments of the Vice-Chancellor’s, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole speech and mostly, the Inaugural Lecturer who is their Provincial Pastor.
Besides, RCCG also came to the Lecture with “workers” in it Ushering and Protocol Units. They took vantage positions in the venue, while welcoming their leaders and fellow members to the venue.
The leadership of RCCG was led to the Inaugural Lecture by the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who was represented by his Special Assistant on Administration and Personnel, Pastor J. F. Odesola. Also in attendance were some Council Members of the Church.
They are the Assistant General Overseer, Pastor David Ilori, Pastor G. Lawal, Pastor David Kuo, Pastor Joseph Obayemi and the Director of Christian Education, RCCG, Pastor Israel Olufela Abatan.
