The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Oyewole has thanked the Visitor to the University, President Goodluck Jonathan, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Royal Fathers, especially the entire members of the University Community and other well- meaning stakeholders for the unflinching support and outstanding cooperation towards moving FUNAAB to a greater height, in his first year of office.
Professor Oyewole expressed appreciation even as he attributed the success story so far to the divine support of the Almighty, declaring that “I have fulfilled all that God put in my mind to do for the first year”.
Appraising the last 365 days, Professor Oyewole said after the Almighty, he owe the staff, students, Alumni and the entire members of the University Community a profound gratitude for their support and cooperation.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chancellor, the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof.) Chike Edozien; the Pro-Chancellor, Sir (Dr.) Adeseye Ogunlewe and the entire Council Members for being there for him, Chairmen of Staff and Student Unions as well as the University at large.
Professor Oyewole equally thanked prominent friends of the University including, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Olusegun Oshunkeye, Chief Kola Jamodu and Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole.
