The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) has approved the University’s Institute of Human Resource Development (INHURD) as a centre for the IJMB ‘A’ Level Programme.
The Director of INHURD, Professor Francis Showemimo, said IJMB gave the approval after an inspection tour of the INHURD facility, recently. With the approval, the Institute is permitted to run an IJMB Centre that could admit up to 350 students.
The IJMB team, which was led by the Professor A. O. Oyewale, representative of the IJMB Chairman; the National Coordinator of IJAM, Mrs L. E. Adam from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; and Dr. A. L. Kolapo from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, expressed satisfaction over the facilities at the Institute.
Following the approval, INHURD will run the pre-degree, IJMB ‘A’ levels and Cambridge ‘A’ levels programme concurrently beginning from January 2014.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Oyewole has congratulated INHURD for the giant stride, promising management’s support towards the success of the programme
