NOTICE TO ALL MATRICULATING STUDENTS
- All Matriculating Students are hereby informed that the MATRICULATION CEREMONY for the 2017/2018 Academic Session will be held at the University Ceremonial Building on Wednesday, 30th May, 2018.
- All Matriculants are required by regulation to wear academic gowns. Academic Gowns and Caps can be obtained from the Colleges from Monday, 28th May, 2018, on the presentation of a receipt for payment of necessary fees. The gowns are to be returned not later than Monday, 4th June, 2018 by 3.00p.m. Failure to return the gowns at the appropriate time will attract a fine of N100 per day to be paid to the University Bursar, starting from three working days after the ceremony. Any loss of gown will attract a replacement fee of N10,000.00.
- Matriculation is not complete without the signing of the REGISTER. Failure to sign the Register by the closing date means that the affected person is not a bonafide student of FUNAAB.
- Matriculants are therefore, required to show proof of having collected academic gowns, by presenting receipts for the payment of tuition fees and evidence of having returned the gowns, before they are allowed to sign the Matriculation Register at the Colleges. The closing date for the signing of the Matriculation Register is Friday, 8th June, 2018.
- The Matriculation Ceremony will start promptly at 10.00 a.m. and all entrances to the venue will be blocked as soon as the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession has taken off. Matriculants should, therefore, be on their seats not later than 9.20 a.m.
