The Paramount Ruler and Alake of Egbaland, HRM Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, Okukenu IV has charged the University “to do more of research, in order to get more fund”.

Navy Captain Rasheed Raji gave the charge in his Goodwill Message at the formal Presentation of Certificate of Registration of Improved Indigenous Chicken Breed (FUNAAB ALPHA) to the University by NACGRAB.
Oba Gbadebo who said he was highly impressed by the University’s groundbreaking research in Improved indigenous Chicken Breed charged the University not to rest on it oars.
Rather, the frontline Monarch said the University should see the success recorded with FUNAAB ALPHA as a challenge to expedite her commitment to research in order to get more fund, affirming that ”we can do it, we have the ability, we have the resources, we are talented and blessed”.
The Paramount Ruler, however, appealed to Federal Government, Stakeholders and donor agencies to facilitate research oriented enabling environment and fund for committed institutions like FUNAAB to thrive.
Oba Adedotun informed that Alake-In-Council and Egbaland in general are passionately committed to agriculture, adding that, that is the reason why the themes of Egba annual festival, “Lisabi Day” for some years have been centred on agriculture.
