In line with the current administration’s commitment to the welfare of members of staff of the University, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako has approved a Special Transportation Scheme for staff whose offices are located in far distances within the Campus.
The approval which came on the heels of the recommendation made by the Board of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Bureau of Transportation (FUNAABOT) is geared towards re-positioning the Bureau for enhanced service delivery.
According to the Director, FUNAABOT, Dr. Waidi Abdul the initiative became imperative in order to ameliorate the hardship some staff undergo covering these distance.
Consequent on the Board’s recommendation, the Vice Chancellor has approved the shuttle schedule of Health services – International Scholars Resource Center – Creche –Bakery – Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS) at 7.30 a.m, 8.00 a.m, 2.00 p.m and 3.00 p.m at the rate of Twenty Naira (N20:00) only.
