Eight former students of the University have once again done the University proud, by being among the successful candidates selected by the Flour Mills Nigeria for its One Year Graduate Trainee Programme.

The Dean, Student Affairs, Professor Babatunde Idowu who disclosed this in an official correspondence stated that the students were subjected to series of rigorous tests and assessments before their final selection.

The beneficiaries are: Kikelomo Olanipekun, Titilayo Amodemaja and Nurudeen Oyelami who graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management; Mololuwa Abe and Johnson Adebori (Department of Soil Science and Land Management); Abiona Ogunmuyiwa (Department of Horticulture) and the duo of Ikechukwu Nwanze and Opeyemi Ajuwon, (Department of Plant Physiology and Crop Production).

According to the Dean, Student Affairs, the exercise is an ongoing programme, and the Student Affairs Unit is preparing to invite more graduates of the University in order to forward their names to the Flour Mills Nigeria Agro-Allied for further assessments for its Graduate Trainee Scheme.
