The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Balogun, has been commended for placing the University on the world map as a centre of academic and research excellence.
A postgraduate student of the Department of Crop Protection, College of Plant Science and Crop Production, (COLPLANT), Mr. Akinyemi Adeyemi, gave the commendation in a letter to the Vice-Chancellor, whom he also lauded for his prudency and exemplary character in the discharge of his national duties as the Chief Returning Officer for Ogun State during the just concluded general elections.
According to him, “I am very proud of you as our Vice-Chancellor, as you gave the result of the votes cast at the INEC Electoral Institute at Abuja, with all accuracy and precision which you are known for”.
Mr. Akinyemi prayed for Professor Balogun, wishing him success in his remaining days in office as Vice-Chancellor, as well as in his future endeavours.
