The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, has approved the staging of the Distinguished Lecture Series on Environment to mark the 2011 World Environment Day.
The Lecture will hold on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Auditorium, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta UNAAB, at 11.00 a.m.
A release by the Director, FMENV/UNAAB Linkages Centre, Dr. M F Adekunle, stated that the Executive Director, Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, Professor S. O Badejo will deliver the lecture, titled “Forests Nature at your Service”.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ogun State Ministry of Forestry, Mr. O.O Banjoko, will be the Chairman at the Lecture, while the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, is the Chief Host.
