The African Women in Agriculture Research and Development (AWARD) is set to host a role model Career Talk, tagged “Youth of Today and Career Challenges of Tomorrow: The Way to a Sustainable Better Future”.

According to a release signed by the Programme Facilitator, Mrs. Petra Abdulsalam-Saghir, of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, the Career-Talk is to plough back and extend what AWARD had impacted into her career and therefore, help the younger generation to prepare them for the challenges ahead.

According to the Facilitator, the programme will also empower the young ones to contribute their quota to the overall development of the society.

The event will hold at the COLVET Auditorium, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun is expected to be Chairman of the occasion.
