A Resource Person from South Pacific, Professor Satish Chandra has described the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB) as a University that has excellent facilities.

Speaking in a chat with UNAAB Bulletin, he disclosed that he was impressed with the state of the art facilities in the University, and the conduct of staffers therein.

According to him, “the institution has got very good and highly knowledgeable staff, in apparent reference to Prof. Lateef Sanni, who is one of the leading Researchers in Tropical Root Crops in the world.

He said, “This University is impressive, it has got very good facilities, most importantly it has very good staff, highly knowledgeable staff.”

Describing the University as a committed entity, he said it has given high priority to the EU-ACP Workshop, right from the beginning till the end of the programme.

Prof. Chandra, who was in the University with Dr. Louise Abayomi and Dr. Claire Coothe, described their stay in the country as wonderful.

In her remarks, a participant from Bells University, Ota, Dr. (Mrs.) Caroline Anyakorah appreciated Prof. Sanni and the Facilitators for what she described as a rare opportunity, stating that the Workshop has been a very delightful experience.

Narrating her experience, she said, “The Workshop has updated my knowledge. I have learnt a lot on research proposal.”

Also a participant from University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Mr. Faseema Joseph prayed for such Workshop to continue in the country.
