A Textile, Clothing and Interior Design Expert, Mr. Olakunle Agboola has been appointed a member of the Governing Board of The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Adire and African Fabric Centre (OOPL/AAFC).

Mr. Agboola is an Assistant Chief Technologist in the University Department of Home Science and Management.

His appointment was contained in a letter dated 17th June, 2011 and signed by the Chief Promoter of OOPL and former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

According to the letter, personally signed by Chief Obasanjo, “You will be working with the OOPL Project Secretariat and will be required to render periodic reports to the Chief Promoter who will forward the reports to the OOPLF Board of Trustees”.

The Board has Mrs. Oluwatoyin Bakre as Chairman while five others including Mr. Agboola are members.

“Their terms of reference include, to oversee the establishment of the Adire and African Fabric Centre in line with the vision of the OOPL Board of Trustees and the Chief Promoter of OOPL, Abeokuta”.
