A FUNAABITE, Mr. Olaniyi Olagoke, has emerged winner of the 2011 TEEAL Graduate Student Research Paper competition.

A release, by the Acting Head, Department of Animal Production and Health, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), Dr. Olajide Adeyemi, stated that the quality of Mr. Olaniyi’s Master’s dissertation, titled “Effect of Free Range and Deep-Litter Production Systems on the Performance and Meat Composition of Cockerel Chickens”, was responsible for the laudable feat.

The release further stated that the research project was partly funded by the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR).
