A panoramic view of the on-going construction work on the 1,500-Seater Grand Stand
Football fans and lovers of Track and Field events, in the University Community, will soon enjoy maximum comfort, following their passion, as work has reached advanced stages on the construction of a 1,500-Seater Grand Stand, at the Sports’ Centre.
These facts emerged when the Director of Sports, Mr. Bayo Oluwatoki, accompanied by the Chief Coach, Mr. Victor Oshuntolu, led FUNAAB Bulletin crew on an inspection tour of the imposing Grand Stand at the Sports’ Centre.
Given the features of the Grand Stand, Messrs Oluwatoki and Oshuntolu disclosed that the facility has three floors with a basement which is to serve as the Gymnasium.
According to them, the Grand Stand, on completion will provide facilities for Conference Room, Press Gallery (small and big), VIP Lounge, Offices, Reception and Medical Rooms.
Other facilities include Wellness Centre, Car Parks, Shops and Lavatories for spectators, as well as Changing Rooms.
