Some members of staff have now resorted to seeking the face of God, in choosing the next Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Checks by FUNAAB Bulletin revealed that the affected staff had embarked on prayer and fasting in their bid to ensure that a divinely “anointed” candidate emerges as the next Vice-Chancellor.

According to a reasonable number of staff, who spoke in confidence with FUNAAB Bulletin, the prayers became necessary, to ensure that the selection process is peaceful, culminating into the emergence of a welfare-oriented Vice-Chancellor that would sustain the existing legacies, laid by the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun.
