The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Adetokunbo Sofoluwe

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Adetokunbo Sofoluwe, has lauded the tenure of his colleague and Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, as very successful.

Professor Sofoluwe gave a captivating assessment of the outstanding accomplishment of Professor Balogun in office, when the latter paid him a courtesy visit, last Friday.

According to the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor, Professor Balogun’s record of performance indicates that he had done very well, to the extent that people, especially his contemporaries, marvel at his ingenuity.

“Professor Balogun has done very well. He has raised the profile of the University (FUNAAB). We cannot but wonder how he does it”, exclaimed Professor Adetokunbo Sofoluwe.

Professor Balogun had earlier in his remarks, commended the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos as a “highly respectable member in the comity of Vice-Chancellors”.

Professor Balogun praised the commitment of his colleague to the upliftment of education in Nigeria as demonstrated in his finding time, despite the demands of his office to supervise Ph. D projects in FUNAAB.

Professor Balogun was accompanied on the visit by his deputies, Professors Toyin Arowolo and Felix Salako, as well as the Deputy Director, Public Relations, Mr. ‘Lasun Somoye.
