The National Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS) has applauded the University’s out-going Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun.

The ovation was given at a send-forth programme, recently held in honour of the Vice-Chancellor, at the Julius Amioba Okojie Lecture Theatre 3.

The President of the Association, Mr. Titilola Munkail, extolled the exemplary leadership style of Prof. Balogun, saying that the Vice-Chancellor is a worthy Ambassador that would forever be celebrated.

According to him, “Prof. Balogun has lit the beacon of development in FUNAAB and God will continue to shine His light upon him as he soars higher”.

Speaking at the occasion, Prof. Balogun noted that it was the first time in five years when the event’s venue, would be filled with students, for any programme.

“This is a confirmation of a vote of confidence on what we have done in the last five years”, he added.

He commended the efforts of the Association and assured them of his Valedictory gratitude, noting that they constitute 65 per cent of FUNAAB’s student population.
