The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole, has charged members of staff to make use of the new FUNAAB E-mail address, to facilitate communication with research agencies and other bodies that will not respond to mails, sent from other Internet domains.
According to a release, signed by the Head, Webometrics Centre, Dr. Olusegun Folorunsho, the new FUNAAB e-mail address is in line with the vision of the present administration to improve Information and Communication Technology facilities on campus, as well as to enhance teaching, learning and research activities.
The release, which informed that the Vice-Chancellor had directed that all staff should be issued with the domain e-mail, however, called on Colleges, Centres, Directorates and Units to compile the list of their members of staff on Microsoft Excel and send to: webometrics@funaab.edu.ng, on or before September 18, 2012, using the format:
Dr. Folorunso then requested Colleges, Centres, Directorates and Units to send their existing official e-mail address to the Webometrics Centre, to make it possible for them to obtain a new one.
