The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole, last Wednesday, paid a Courtesy Call on the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Nurudeen Olorun-nimbe Adedipe, at his Ikorodu residence, Lagos State.
Welcoming the Vice-Chancellor and the Management team to his house, Professor Adedipe charged the incumbent Vice-Chancellor to be focused as a leader, noting that leadership comes with responsibilities and challenges.
Professor Adedipe further stressed the need for all to collaborate with the Management in sustaining the successes recorded by the University over the years.
In his response, Professor Oyewole thanked the pioneer Vice-Chancellor for hosting his team, as he commended his visionary leadership qualities.
“Whatever we are in FUNAAB today is because of the strong foundation you built then”, he noted.
The Vice-Chancellor disclosed that he was an Assistant Lecturer when Professor ‘Nimbe Adedipe was at the helm of affairs in the University.
