The Management has directed members of the University community, especially drivers and other users of University vehicles to henceforth, park them at the Alabata main campus.
The directive is contained in a memo reference FUNAAB/WS/dated 14th November, 2012 and signed by the Director, Works and Services, Engr. (Mrs.) Omolola Banjo.
According to the memo, the relocation is imperative because of the Ogun State Government on-going reconstruction of Abeokuta township Roads, which led to the pulling down of the University former mini-campus fence at Isale-Igbehin, where some official vehicles were usually parked.
Based on the insecured state of the premises, it is now an offence for any user or driver of University vehicle to park at Isale-Igbehin.
According to the directive, it is now mandatory for all users of University vehicles to park them at Alabata Main Campus.
