The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Chief Lawrence Ayinde Olakunle Osayemi has charged contractors handling ongoing University’s projects, to as a matter of urgency fast track completion, as soon as possible.

Chief Osayemi gave the charge during the Governing Council inspection tour of ongoing projects on Thursday.

The Pro-Chancellor said the contractors have no justification for not completing the projects on record time because the University is neither owing them nor depriving them of the needed support that will enhance projects delivery.

Chief Osayemi, who commended the Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole led Management commitment to completion of project its inherited from its predecessor, stressed the need for the contractors to follow suit by completing the contracts on time.

Projects inspected include Veterinary Teaching Hospital Complex, College of Management Sciences (COLMAS) Building Complex, 2,500 Seater Auditorium, FUNAAB Staff School and Ancilliary Building at International Scholars and Resource Centre.
