As part of proactive measures to ameliorate the transport challenges faced by the students, the University Management has given approval for the repair of four (4) buses while funds have also been released to fix another three (3).
Management disclosed this in a Press Release signed by the Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola and made available to FUNAAB Bulletin.
According to the University Management, the four buses that were repaired have been in use by the students since Monday, May 7, 2018 while three additional buses would be fixed in the next few days, making a total of seven (7).
Management further informed that it is working with all stakeholders to bring lasting solution to the challenges facing the students.
It, however, reminded the students that all measures, aimed at addressing their challenges are only realizable in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Management therefore, appealed to the teeming students to reciprocate the ongoing efforts at addressing their needs by shunning violence and all forms of breach of campus peace.
