The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako has called for unity among members of staff and all stakeholders of the University, saying that “FUNAAB Must Stand”.

Professor Salako said this during the Appreciation Party organized for the members of the University Ceremonials Committee (CERECOM) for the success recorded during the 23rd, 24th and 25th Combined Convocation Ceremonies.

The Vice-Chancellor said “as long as we are humans and we remain productive, we shall have friction”, but the friction should be managed in a manner that does not damage the reputation of FUNAAB, because FUNAAB as an institution will outlive everybody.

He tasked the members of the Ceremonials Committee not to rest on their oars but continue to put in their best to achieve more success and also thanked their family members for their understanding during peak periods of University events.

Earlier, the Chairman CERECOM, Professor Biodun Badmus appreciated all the CERECOM team and the University Management for giving its support, morally and financially towards all the committee’s activities.

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of award plaques to members.
