FUNAAB Athletic Team has once again showcased their prowess by dominating the recently concluded Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Invitational Relay Championship, held at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
FUNAAB Athletes came first in the Women category of 4 x 100m relay race, while in the men/women 4 x 100m medley relay race; the team also came second ahead of others.
The participating schools include, the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, the Federal University of Agriculture, (FUNAAB) Abeokuta, University of Port-Harcourt and the Ijebu-Ode Athletic Club.
The athletes who represented the University were, Kehinde Omotayo (200L, COLANIM), Olalekan Adebote (500L, COLANIM), Elijah Abire (200L, COLANIM) and Babatunde Sodiya (500L, COLERM), all male.
While the female contingent were Adeola Olaide (300L, COLMAS),
Sharon Oni (300L, COLMAS), Kafayat Abdul (200L, COLANIM and Damilola Adepoju (300L, COLPLANT).
