The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Staff School has celebrated its end of the year party and Christmas Carol with praise and thanksgiving to God for His provisions, protection and preservation over members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders.
Recounting God’s blessing on the entire staff and students in the year 2018, the Head Teacher, Mrs. Florence Alade in her Welcome Address expressed unreserved gratitude to God for the successes recorded in the year and appreciated the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako for his unflinching support and for always consenting to their demands.
She also thanked the University Management, parents and pupils for the faith reposed in them to provide the children with sound academic foundation and assured them of the renewed commitment of members of staff to take the school to greater heights in the years ahead.
Ministering at the Occasion, Mr. Joshua Alebiosu reiterated the importance of singing, praising and worshiping in Glory, noting that it is the secret to receiving more blessings from God.
According to him, “so many people started the year with us but they didn’t make it to the end of the year. We didn’t only make it but we made it in good health”.
He enjoined the congregation never to cease glorifying God because there is power in praises.
Earlier in his Remark, the Vice Chancellor who was represented by Dr Bosede Sotiloye commended the staff and pupils of the school for being disciplined and well behaved, while praying for greater success for the parents, staff and students in the year 2019.
Highpoints of the event were different educative and entertaining presentations by the parents, students and staff of FUNAAB Staff school.
