Coordinator and MD/CEO Afrika Queen, Jasmine Ofoegbu

The Queen Varsity Afrika Reality television show which was shot in the University will hit the airwaves from February 11, 2019.

The 13 episode reality programme that aims at empowering young ladies with beauty plus brains will be showing on NTA 2 Lagos, Jive TV on Startimes and several online portals.

The reality programme according to the MD/CEO Pillar and Pride of Afrika who is also the Executive Producer of the Show, Jasmine Ofoegbu featured 17 contestants and was open to African female undergraduates and graduates from various notable higher institutions of learning in Nigeria like FUNAAB and Benin Republic.

She disclosed that the show would address issues bordering on health, safety, self esteem, culture, tourism, information technology, entrepreneurial skills and humanitarian outreach.

According to the CEO of Pillar and Pride of Afrika, viewers would have the opportunity to vote via www.queenvarsityafrika.com and on the show’s social media for 10 of their favourite housemates to qualify for the grand finale from where the Queen Varsity Afrika 2019 would emerge.

Ofoegbu expressed unreserved appreciation to the University Management for its unquantifiable support all through the shooting of the show, revealing that the former 2 time President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, among other prominent personalities would be featured on the show.
