In order to engage more youths and women in making a living through Agriculture, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in collaboration with the House Committee on Agricultural Production and Services have trained youths and women on Agricultural Value Chain.

Speaking at the Flag-off of the Training, the Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, Professor Kolawole Salako represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Professor Lateef Sanni implored the youths to engage more in Agriculture because it will strengthen the socio-economic terrain of Nigeria.

Earlier, while welcoming participants, the Managing Director, BOAYOL International Company Limited, Honourable Omoleye Olabode, represented by Barrister Ayodele Olaniyi charged the Farmers to make good use of the knowledge acquired during the Training.

Certificates and incentives were given to participants at the end of the Training to motivate them.
