Outgoing Corps members have commended the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, for giving the University a total turn-around in academic excellence, infrastructure and social development.

They gave Professor Balogun a pat on the back during the Send-Forth Party, organized for them and held at the Directorate of Public Relations.

Baring the minds of the Batch “C” 2010/2011 Corps members, their Internal Liaison Officer (ICLO), Mr. Taiwo Fashina, described the Vice-Chancellor and his team performances as impressive and awesome.

Fashina, who served in the Directorate of Public Relations, stated that during their service, Professor Balogun was almost on weekly basis, literarily “feeding our (corps members) eyes and ears with successive monumental transformations and landmark achievements”.

He averred that little surprise, that UNAAB’s rating nationally and globally had risen rapidly in the last four years, with the latest being her ranking as the seventh best University in the country.

Fashina, who is popularly called “Fash” by his fellow corps members pin-pointed Prof. Balogun‘s achievements as being deeply rooted and firmly established in academic excellence and infrastructures.

The outgoing ICLO identified the Directorate of Public Relations as an ingenuity of Professor Balogun, describing the Directorate as all embracing, where people like him have been thoroughly exposed to the nitty-gritty and rudiments of Public Relations, Journalism, Protocol and Passages services.

Fashina thanked the Management for providing a conducive atmosphere for the operations of Corps members, with a plea however, to further improve the lots of subsequent colleagues that will serve in the University.
