The Paramount Ruler and the Alake of Egbaland HRM (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo on Thursday showered encomiums on the University’s Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Chief Lawrence Ayinde Olakunle Osayemi, describing him as an illustrious son of Egbaland.
Besides, Oba Gbadebo anchored his commendation on Chief Osayemi’s enviable antecedent and track records in the industries.
Acknowledging the presence of Chief Osayemi at the formal presentation of FUNAAB’s new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole and the Registrar, Mr. Mathew Odunlade Ayoola (JP) at his palace, Oba Gbadebo said of the Pro-Chancellor, “The Balogun of Isaga is a captain of industries. He headed the biggest mill in the country successfully. He’s a lawyer and a great Administrator who strived for excellence at all times”.
The paramount ruler of Egbaland said, Chief Osayemi’s name would be etched in gold in the history of the University, for his outstanding contributions.
